When Tie identifies a shopper on your site, it can attach attributes to that shopper's profile. They tell you who the person is, not only what they clicked, so you can build segments and personalize flows on household, income, interests and more.

There are nine categories of attributes. Which ones come through on your profiles depends on what is set up for your account, and your Tie contact can confirm exactly what you have.

Where the attributes show up

Tie writes attributes to the shopper's profile in the email or SMS platform you connected, as profile properties. You can segment and filter on them the same way you use any other profile property, with no new tools to learn.

Every attribute, with a plain description of what it means, is in the Tie Attribute Catalog. You can search it, filter it by category, and send a filtered link to anyone on your team.

Adding more attributes

If you want an attribute from the catalog that you are not receiving today, send the attribute names to your Tie contact. They will confirm what is available for your account.
